The January Full Moon is coming up tomorrow at 2:21 PM in the afternoon. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am feeling some of its tensile energy. We have a full moon in Cancer (the sign of family and caring for family), with an opposition to the sun (of course, thats what makes a full moon), and also Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto. Ooooo, these aren’t easy energies to maneuver. Oppositions, and especially to the moon, expose underlying energies, if we’re at peace with ourselves, all good; if we aren’t, thats when it feels difficult. The energy of the Sun (how we look to the rest of the world), the energy of Mercury ( the mind, the intellect, esoteric knowledge), Pluto (deep work, karmic work), and Saturn (the container, the energy that helps give your life a foundation from which to operate on).
We also have a square to Uranus (Pluto and Saturn) from this line up (stellenium) of planets the are opposing the moon. A square is initiating and pushing for change, and Uranus is that spark of creativity and genius that we all innately have (since ultimately we are stardust which is totally RAD). So, the square to Uranus is pushing us to look at how we can show up in the world with our genius in operation. This is a hard act to follow with society creeping in telling us what we are supposed to be like and how we are supposed to be.
Let me tell you – if you are not feeling true to your inner self, if you are not sure of who you are and what you are doing, this isn’t going to be easy energy. Its going to push on you and if you dont have a deep rudder of you own truth guiding you in the undercurrents of your life, its just not going to feel like easy energy.
TAKE HEART though – feel the discomfort and be curious about it. All of life is an uncovering of ourselves to see who we really are. if you stay present through the energy, you’ll see yourself through to the other side where you’ll have a nugget of truth to take with you, a nugget of your own truth, and your own self that is for no one but you to understand. Sure, its great if other people get you, but ultimately, that is not of concern. If you ALWAYS worried about what other people think, where would that leave you? In someone else world, with someone else colors, ideas, shapes and forms. NO, this is your world to create, this is your life to live to the FULLEST. Remember this, and if your uncomfortable, take a moment to get comfortable, light a candle, put some good ambient music on, and meditate. Take some time to meditate on yourself, your essence, your gifts. This will wash away that angst, and open up your mind to what’s really important to you. <3
